Atonement-6209

A model in a grey draped vest and white neck wrap stands in a parking garage while a second model walks away behind her.

Cycles of violence, incarceration, and poverty complicate the relationship between personal culpability, systemic harm, and redemption. Atonement-6209 translates these tensions into a runway show informed by Christian parable, the prison pipeline, urban decay, and addiction. The result is a collection that examines the cyclical nature of violence and forgiveness, questioning whether atonement can interrupt the patterns that perpetuate harm.

Process board: photographs of fencing and trees struck through in red, fitting photos marked up in red pen, a rusted pipe and two cross-shaped pendants.
Black and white: a model with her arms held out walks the length of an empty parking level.
